MUSIC TEACHER
Part-time position, beginning 2025-26 school year
Tri-Valley CUSD #3 is seeking a teacher for our general music program. A successful candidate will develop in each student an appreciation of the art of music; to teach techniques of vocal and/or instrumental music expression; to discover and develop talents of pupils in the field of music; to develop knowledge and skills in listening and reading music; and to plan and organize programs hosted at the school and district level. Candidates must have the ability and skills necessary to teach all aspects of an elementary/middle school music curriculum guided by the Illinois State Standards. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of curriculum development and best practices for music instruction.
Qualifications: The successful candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to implement our current music program. The ideal candidate will have successful experience in general music group lessons. Illinois Professional Licensure (K-12) Candidate must excel in all forms of communication, collaborative working relationships and strong technology skills.

STUDENT SUCCESS INTERVENTIONIST
Beginning 2025-26 school year
This position provides additional support to students, particularly in their ability to self-regulate and manage their emotions and behaviors. This position also will provide Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and behavioral interventions, guidance, and support to be used in-classroom by other teachers and staff.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field working toward a Master’s degree preferred; 3-5 years of experience working in schools and providing social skills training, student mentoring and talking with students struggling with emotional regulation.

ASSISTANT NURSE

This position is responsible for providing daily support and guidance to students health concerns, dispensing medications, conducting vision and hearing screenings, working in classrooms with students on health-related topics, providing staff trainings as needed, and aiding the head school nurse in medical reviews for students being evaluated for special education services or medical plans.

Responsibilites include: providing assistance to children druing lunch and recess. Supervision to ensure a positive and safe environment for students. This position also includes before school care duties. Hours are 6am-1pm, Monday-Friday.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Beginning 2025-26 school year
This teacher will work with students in middle school and be an integral member of our staff at Tri-Valley Middle School. The teacher will work cooperatively with other physical education teachers in planning a balanced physical education program. The physical education teacher is responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students. The teacher will encourage students to participate in various physical activities to the best of their abilities and educate them on the importance of health and fitness. Coaching and sponsorship opportunities will also be available throughout the school district, specifically for 7th-grade boys' basketball and assistant football coach.
Qualifications: Professional Educator License through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) with approved program/endorsement for physical education; Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; Endorsements in additional content areas are of value as well; Interest in coaching, activity sponsorships, or other school community roles are preferred.
