SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

The Tri-Valley School District is looking for a student-centered, high-energy, and hard-working special education teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This teacher will work with students in grades 9 through 12 and be an integral member of our staff at Tri-Valley High School. 

Candidates should have a solid knowledge of best practices in special education, with experience in effectively addressing the academic, social, emotional, and vocational needs of students. Individuals who will be successful in this position will be skilled in adapting curriculum and teaching strategies in a self-contained, small group/pullout setting.  They will be adept at co-teaching and supporting students in the general education setting as well.  Preferred candidates will be positive, collaborative, and flexible problem-solvers.  Coaching and sponsorship opportunities will also be available throughout the school district.
