DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL SERVICES

The Tri-Valley School District is looking for a student-centered, high energy, and hard-working Director of Special Services for the 2025-2026 school year. This administrator will provide leadership, vision, and oversight for the district's special education programs and special services. The Director will be responsible for managing and supporting special education staff, overseeing IEP's, and fostering strong relationships with parents, students, and community stakeholders. The Director will also ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and promote a collaborative, inclusive learning environment for all students with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and collaboration will be essential to this administrative role.

Qualifications: Masters degree in Special Education or a related field; Valid PEL, hold qualifications as a Teacher Evaluator, currently hold or in pursuit of General Administrative endorsement or Director of Special Education endorsement; minimum of 5 years teaching or administrative experience within Special Education; minimum of 2 years school administrative experience preferred; such alternatives to the above qualifications as the district may find appropriate and acceptable.
